Final inks for both shirt designs are done, will do more after work tomorrow.
Here are the two final sketches side by side. The top being the cute kid friendly shirt and the other being more realistic to the game, darker and twisted with an added golden Freddy fazbear and chica’s cupcake.
I wish I could to holographic stuff with this so when you look at it one way it’s cute and happy and when you look at it another, the dark sinister side appears.
I’ll be inking and hopefully coloring these tonight. Been getting ready to move into my new apartment so I haven’t been in the mindset to work on owed commissions till after I get moved and settled.
I’m addicted to this damn fandom and game….so good.
Something I’m working on.
I thought of doing a shirt design like what you would see sold at a Chuck E. Cheese all happy and cute and child friendly.
I’ll be doing an alternate version that’s more creepy and twisted.
It’s a work in progress.
Not sure if I’ll do anything with these…I think chica is the creepiest, no matter how I draw the other characters they just aren’t as creepy as chica.
Chica I hate you so, and yet your the easiest to draw creepy.
Maybe I should do a Freddy Fazbear’s logo or something one day.
Added on more to my pachyrhinosaurus. He’s coming along nicely with the color pallet I picked. I started adding some texture to his skin and will make it somewhat crocodilian. I also need to mess with his neck a bit more to make it fit with the head. All the yellow ochre is going to be worked on eventually.
More to come!
I got “Five Night’s at Freddy’s” after a week of hell. I needed a good horror game and this was it…I haven’t played that intense of a game in awhile. When your watching it, not so bad, but when your playing it…man it’s a rush.
I haven’t been so scared by a video game since the invisible pinkies in doom, and that was when that game first came out.
So obviously…I drew the animatronic characters….I hate them all…but especially that duck.
Something I felt like doing while in a sickley feverish mess. A realistic hazard…since she is a kaprosuchus monster…just this time less of the monster.
Might draw them more.
So far what I have of the big guy for tonight…will add more later.
I hung him up on the wall at eye level in a spot where I will see him every time I walk in the studio. I also hung the original sketch next to it. Something I was taught and learned is to always step back and look at your picture from a distance. If you get stuck or need a break do it, give your brain a rest, take a nap, and go back to it fresh minded. This way when I look at the sketch side by side with the painting I can compare what needs to be done and what is wrong with it before I get too far ahead of myself and get to a spot where I can’t back out easily. Not without a lot of headaches. I’m still learning with acrylics and how to paint properly…so we will see how this turns out.
I was playing around with markings as well as scaling… I’m making due with what little supplies I have atm. My arsenal is still back in Texas.
Translated the sketch to the canvas…will be starting on it tonight.
Btw any tips would be lovely…I’m going to be working with India ink, acrylic paint, and or gouache.
Pachyrhinosaurus sketch idea for painting.
